stock from cd install (2.4.18-bf2.4). it's a standard ps2 mouse.

no output. verbose output gives:

The mouse police never sleep.
Found the following devices:
/dev/psaux
/dev/ttyS1
/dev/ttyS0

any more ideas? i'm ready to do a redhat install at this point. :(
