[sheffield-coops] Co-operative corner at the Green Fair, 13th of July

Dear all,

I wanted to contact you on be-half of the
organising team of the Green Fair which is taking
place on the 13th of July.

The Green Fair is an Annual event organised
by Green Party members. Last year we had a foot
fall of almost 900.


After speaking to Chris Croome, from WebArchitects,
about his experience at the Green Fair he suggested
that the event have a "Co-operative Corner".

We, the Green Fair team, really like this idea. We see a
great benefit in both promoting the Co-operative model
and indeed the varied and valuable Co-ops that are
thriving in Sheffield.

I want to ask if you and your Co-operative
would be interested in sharing a dedicated
space at the Green Fair?


*Costs*
The price for stalls will be Single £35,  Double £60
but you can double up on stalls - to book stalls

*Benefits*
• The Co-operative Corner will be a key feature
on all our leaflets, posters and the map of the programme.
• We will also have a short write up on the the Green Fair
website and help promote the Co-operative Corner on facebook.
• We also plan on having some Co-operative Corner signage.

*We would really appreciate your thoughts on this.*



On a side note I went to a social enterprise workshop
with SENTA http://www.senta.co.uk/ about 7 weeks
ago and Co-operatives were briefly mentioned in particular
Regather. It was a really good workshop but focused more
on Social Enterprises but it might be an idea to contact SENTA
and see if they need a workshop on Co-operatives or maybe
a quest speaker? - they maybe able to support the Sheffield
Co-operative group that has been formed.
