[OccupySheffield] Speaker request for this Sunday

Dear Occupiers,

This is Tina from Occupy London outreach w.g. We received the following
invitation by Peter Kilbane a couple of months back. Various people opted
in then out of this engagement that involves a 20-minutes slot this Sunday
at the Northern Union Political Summer School. The talk is entitled "How do
we achieve the change we want."

There are 60 grass roots reps that have confirmed so far, including Boycott
Workfare and UK Uncut.

The college is situated in Yorkshire (Northern College, Wentworth Castle,
Stainborough Barnsley, South Yorkshire S75 3ET). There's coverage of travel
expenses and accommodation for up to two people.

Can anyone from Occupy Sheffield make it? Nicole said she's out of the
country and waiting on David to respond.

Sorry for the late notice, I've tried around a dozen people and all are
either geographically unavailable or otherwise engaged. I could possibly
join you on Sunday but am currently in Greece, returning to the UK
Saturday. It would be a lot more preferable if at least one person can make
both days, as this is a rare opportunity for Occupy to talk with and get to
know a range of activists, as well as debate the hard questions.

If you can attend this, I'd be happy to share material that we've used in
London for similar occasions. Though again, the main benefit here will come
from the face-to-face interactions.

Please contact Peter (event organiser, cc'd in this mail) and myself as
soon as possible, as the program needs to be finalised.
