Occupy Sheffield Street working group   6.30 Blue Moon cafe 19/06/12
 
Present: Robert Susan John Shannon Jean
 
Welcome to Shannon who is from America and has been in Occupy camps there - he is doing a Masters on the Labour movement and would like to talk to people who are involved
 
The working group plans to hand out copies of Positive News every Saturday in August either on Fargate or in front of the Cathedral (Jean will contact Michael Paget to check our position on this). There will be a meeting to arrange this 6.30 at the Blue Moon on Thursday 19th July
Robert has done a draft leaflet to hand out - agreed to ask people to write draft leaflets on what Occupy is doing or should be doing - what we stand for and against etc.
We have a number of leaflets from the camp which are worth looking at - also have contact lists from  camp plus a pop-up tent - Jean will bring to meeting on 19th. Robert and Susan will bring a table and something to identify us as Occupy Sheffield and Positive News.
 
Hoping to do this with the Speakers'Corner
 
Next GA next Monday 25th June 6.30 at QMH followed by Positive Money meeting at 7.45
