i've been keeping quiet as there's been plenty of interest and i haven't
seen where i can contribute.

however, institutional affiliation i can offer. ultralab has experience
in hosting digital video production workshops
http://barney.ultralab.net/summerschool/ around the uk for students
including cross culturally in ireland, developing user generated content
floss www.everyobject.net.

and of course the lab is a not-for-profit with a track record for
researching and developing pilot delightful-use-of-ict-for-learning
projects and scaling them up to large scale.

having catalysed our online faclitation team of 20+ educationalists to
become a self-directed community of enquiry, i confess i'm intrigued by
the challenge of how this project might cohere the vision of so many
activists. perhaps indymedia's model is a useful starting point... i'm
certainly happy to be part of the conversation.

and if its of any use: i ran a small video production company (community
vision) and a software design company (grow aWare) in what seems like
another lifetime (93-96) and have been involved with new media design /
lecturing on an off since 1993.
