Hey everyone

I'm in touch on behalf of CoTech, the tech co-op network formerly known as
the Megazord. Either you were invited and couldn't make it, or we think you
should know about it, so please have a read below. If you've already been
updated, give it a little skim just in case.

The best indication of what happened over the course of the three and a bit
days is the Wiki <https://wiki.coops.tech/wiki/Main_Page>. This includes:

   - A breakdown of which tech co-ops were there. This isn't everyone,
there were also a few people who came with the intention of
converting the
organisations that they're involved with to co-ops in the near
future/ they
are related to the worker co-op movement in some way.
      - A list of the sessions that ran from Tuesday to Thursday morning.
Monday is missing because we had facilitation training delivered by the
brilliant Becks and Rhiannon from Seeds for Change
      <http://www.seedsforchange.org.uk> co-op, they come highly
recommended. The training was very effective and useful for the following
      days.
      - Don't forget to have a look at the Loomio
      <https://www.loomio.org/g/oVwtKDOn/digital-co-ops> group- all threads
are public, as well as the blogs written by Ellie
      <http://outlandish.com/blog/the-cooperative-technologists-have-landed/>,
      John
      <https://medium.com/weareopencoop/a-spectre-is-haunting-tech-the-spectre-of-co-operation-dbabbaabda1e#.g0j2b660o>
      and Tanc
      <https://agile.coop/blog/co-operative-technologists-aka-megazord-first-conference>
      .

   - Wortley Hall <http://www.wortleyhall.org.uk/> was a brilliant venue,
you might well describe it as 'dreamy'. If you ever need a venue that
combines co-operative history with lots of space, brilliant staff and wood
carved panpipes in one of the meeting rooms, this is your spot.
   - Outlandish and Glowbox are currently collaborating on a map of the
Megazord which will be ready to launch soon. If you couldn't make it to the
Sheffield retreat, you will be able look up someone who co-ops nearby and
arrange a catch up. If you don't want to wait, you can have a look at the
list of who was there on the Wiki and get in touch.
   - We think this will be the first of many annual events but didn't want
to wait that long to catch up with people so we agreed that in order to
support our fellow co-operators and keep up to date with what's going,
we'll make an effort to attend events nearby. Check out the calendar listed
on the front page of the Wiki and if you're a co-op, add anything that
   you're organising to it.

If you don't want to receive any more news on CoTech, please reply to all
and I'll find somewhere to record it. I hope you really want to get
involved though, this network has already proved to be really engaged and
will only fulfill its potential if there is widespread participation.

Many thanks and I hope you're all well. And please also feel free to click
on that link below my name where it says we're on the look out for more
devs :D
