Hi .. some help required,

Rumour has it that Chesterfield College will soon be selling off their stock of
old PC's to Staff and Students and they are preinstalling them with Ubuntu 5.10
in OEM mode.  Price will be i the region of £20  

They were hoping to be able press into the happy punters hands a Ubuntu CD and
and a "welcome to your ubuntu computer" type of document, with a list of local
LUG web sites etc..

Unfortunately they are still waiting on the Ubuntu Shipit to deliver abox of
CD's.  Does anybody have a bag full they can grab ASAP ( somewhere in
Chesterfield / Sheffield would be good ).  

Secondly, has anybody got a "welcome to your ubuntu computer" doc on the web so
they can print it off ??

Thirdly, If you know anybody who is a staff or student at Chesterfield College,
get them to ask for a preinstalled Linux computer ( if they want one :-)).
It'll help persuade the college it was a useful thing to do, and  that the
amount of unpaid volunteer time the techs there have put in to do this has been
worthwile.
