There is a launch event for a Free music project I noticed
on another list [1]:

    Here's a link to an upcoming event that is extending
    free software principles, including social ones, to
    sound - it is described as trying to make "a temporary
    gift economy of sounds inspired by the free software
    and open source software communities".  It's taking
    place in Berlin, which may be convenient for German
    members of the list.
