I have been alerted to this story about a new focus on the illegal use of
software in schools, and thought it might be of interest to members of this

"The Federation Against Software Theft has stepped up its drive to promote
the legal use of software in Britain's schools. The move is part of a
two-fold campaign to increase awareness of the legal ramifications of
software misuse as well as to take enforcement action against
