[ptx] Optimize/stitch only images selected in prev window

Pablo, all,

I tried several things with this option (Preferences - Misc) and I have a lot of good and same bad news.
The good ones:
Overall this option does exactly what one would expect from it. With toggle ON, hugin only optimises/stitches the images selected in the preview. It's not nessesairy to 'update' the preview - just toggling individual images on/off changes the behaviour. Having the 'Optimize/stitch only images selected in prev window' toggle on and all images selected does the same than switching this option off - fine.

There is one thing with optimisation that can give you a very hard headage.
Under some (not all) possible combinations of individual images toggled on/off it can happen, that hugin does not show the actual values for a, b, c. It then shows zero for a, b, c all the time?! Neither in the optimisation tab nor in the lens tab the real values can be seen. This can be very irritating, if the 'Optimize/stitch only images selected in prev window' toggle is set by accident (from a previous session) and you are wondering, why a, b, c are not optimised?! It took me quite a while to find this (user) error the first time.

Enhancement request:
Setting the 'Optimize/stitch only images selected in prev window' toogle from the preferences menu is ok, because this is a advanced function, that can drive newbies crazy, if set by accident. But it would be nice to see from the optimiser/stitcher tab, if the toggle is set or not.

best, mike
