[ptx] some pano questions

Hi,

hope my questions are not too off-topic... I wonder if I can (mis)use  
hugin/panotools/emblend to do the following:

1)allign 2 images with different exposure but almost similar content (2  
different exposures but shot without a tripod so that there is a slight  
mismatch in the frame). I need 2 files on output that I can blend later in  
photoshhop.

2)assemble several images that were shot from different positions. A pano  
of a long object for example, where the individual photos were taken  
sequentially by walking alongside the object and making shots  
perpendicular to the object.

any ideas?
