The current OS X stuff was done by Ippei:

I don't have access to a recent mac, so I can't tell you how usable 
hugin is.

I'm sure there are, you can start by testing Ippei's binary.  Then 
try to build the latest hugin CVS with the latest version of 
wxwidgets following Ippei's instructions.

There will be bugs that can be fixed by modifying the hugin sources 
and there will certainly be bugs in wxwidgets that need to be 
tracked-down and reported.
