it seems that multilayer tiff has each layer just slightly bigger than
the modified image itself.
when i try extracting them with tiffcp or tiffsplit, so they are not
aligned correctly (though their alignment is correct in layered tiff).

is there any way to extract them so that layer is expanded to image size
with alpha channel (it seems there is no other way to pass them to
enblend) ?

is there any way to extract all layers with single tiffcp command
(tiffsplit does not accept any arguments, but it seems that with tiffcp
i have to write a simple script, which isn't hard, but if i could avoid
that... ;) )
