Hello everybody,

as promised for a long long time, here is a Windows installer of my
autopano-sift package. It uses the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 and the newly
released Gtk# 1.0 library. For both, there are good installers available.
Please let me know of any problems (or fixes ;), I tested autopano.exe and
generatekeys.exe under both Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2000.

Besides being available for Windows there are two small changes: I now
supply Pablo's script by default instead of my simple autopano-complete.sh
script. Secondly, there is now a maximum-matches option for autopano.exe, as
suggested by Ian Sydenham and Pablo.

The Windows installer will check for the .NET framework and Gtk# being
installed and will point you to the right places to download it from in case
it is not found.

The Windows installer is available from:

    http://cs.tu-berlin.de/~nowozin/autopano-sift/autopano-sift-1.4-win.exe

the Mono/Linux version is available from:

    http://cs.tu-berlin.de/~nowozin/autopano-sift/autopano-sift-1.4.tar.gz

A word of caution for the Windows version: the autopanog.exe GUI does not
work! It crashes immediately after startup. I tried for some time, but I think
its some Gtk# related bug I am not able to fix without investing a lot of
time. The command line utilities (autopano.exe, generatekeys.exe) and
showone.exe and showtwo.exe work, though. For people that want to try to fix
this bug or to compile/modify the sources, there is a BUILD_WINDOWS.txt file
in the doc/ directory in the sourcetree. The NSIS installer script is in the
windows-installer/ directory.

Thanks for testing,
Sebastian
