[ptx] max lyons broke 1GP

Just noticed that Max Lyons broke the 1GP barrier at Bryce yesterday.

This trumps his earlier Library of Congress image (0.73GP).

Time to review which tools break on 2GB images, and which tools break on
16bit image coordinates.  I found Galeon (gecko engine) couldn't load
the 100% crop stripe, but Eye of Gnome and GQView could.
