superficial xrc changes...

I've gotten familiar with XRCed now, and have made many superficial
changes in the resources on my machine.

I will review my versions again tomorrow to make sure I'm not breaking
anything functional, and then check them in to collect comments.  I was
aiming for a little more consistency between all the controls, both in
layout and in wording.  I'm also working on other graphics which I'll
integrate slowly here and there.
