I am very confused about this. Has it been decided that we should pay for rooms at the meeting house? I would suggest Dawn that, unless it has you don't book it. We haven't paid before, we've used rooms free if they've been available and I'm not aware of any change in policy about this. If there has been a change have we had some donation money to cover costs. I don't personally want rooms to be booked at a cost if we don't know where the money's coming from.

Well, Only a few others have expressed an interest in the Egyptian film at the showroom on Monday, so I’m ‘assuming’ most would still like a GA at QMH???
I wish ppl could have gotten back to me either way, because if I ring them now and they say the only room they have available is the main room – as Jean says, then we’ll have to leave it to those showing up at QMH to sort the fee of £37; if not enough people turn up then what and could just a few people at a GA be able to cover the cost?
I don’t want to mess them around by having to cancel at the last minute, but I guess I’ll just book the main room for this week, try for the lower cost rooms for the next few weeks and leave you all to it.
I personally won’t be at Quaker’s on Monday, because I’m going to the film – so I trust (hopefully) people choosing to go to a GA can take responsibility with QMH.

the only room available for 12th when I asked yesterday was the Main meeting room - to book ij=n advance  we can have it at the lowest rate of £37 but I think it needs to be booked asap - I'm hapyy to leave this with Dawn. If we can afford to pay for rooms for Mondays again we need to book as early as possible. Other rooms - rm1 . rm. 2 and rm 4 would be big enough for us and are less expensive but aren't available this coming Monday

Occupy  would like to book the Quaker Meeting House for Monday 12 th March for GA 6.30 til close. We want to secure the booking so those who can afford it don’t mind paying . A ‘friends’ rate would be great though if possible. If this works out we may book it for a few weeks to have some consistency of venue just for now and then review! Would you mind finding out for us if available for Monday and what rate  we would be charged ?Ground floor access would be preferable for accessibility as we want to be able to be as inclusive as possible.
