[OccupySheffield] Appeal to Sheffield Cathedral & Occupy Sheffield

Thank you for the email and for the clarification that has been given
with regards the decision made by the General Assembly.  So that the
Cathedral has a full understanding of Occupy's position can you or
anyone else at Occupy provide answers to the two following questions:-

 

1)      Do you intend to vacate and clear the camp from the Cathedral
Forecourt / Churchyard as you do not have permission to be on Cathedral
land.

2)      If the answer to question 1 is No, what circumstances would be
required for Occupy Sheffield to clear and leave the Cathedral Forecourt
/ Churchyard?

Dear Carl,

My apologies that our decision making process has been slow.  You said
today that you had been expecting a written proposal as to our
intentions.  Here is the text of the proposal that was agreed at
tonight's GA.  I hope this answers your request.

We agreed a proposal that we re-organise camp and move closer to Lloyds
TSB on Monday 23rd Jan after the National Conference. We will vacate the
space in front of the cathedral as discussed in previous GA's.
