[OccupySheffield] public GAs

Is this decision a reversal of last weeks - last published (27th Jan) GA decision to hold GA's on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday? Will this decision be changed again - say next week to Monday, Wednesday, Saturday? dependent on who runs the GA? It might be helpful to list attendees so people can see who reached 'consensus

As an outsider, its impossible to commit to GA's as you keep moving the goalposts - from what I experienced at the Citadel on sunday - you have bigger issues to consider rather than whether to serve digestives or rich tea with the camp tea? Perhaps its just me, but something is not right and the falling off of numbers seems to underline it. Most revolutions tend to gain momentum, with Occupy its going the other way.

  Subject: [OccupySheffield] public GAs

Sorry, misleading title as every GA is public.

It was decided at the meeting tonight (again I think!) that we would have GAs at camp/citadel on Monday, Weds and Friday - to leave Tuesday and Thursday free for working group/ alternative meetings.

Most people agreed it would be good to have a Saturday public GA slot somewhere outside of the established Occupy spaces.

I think the town hall would be good, at around 3pm. However, I don't think this should be a normal GA. What about it being something along the lines of, "Occupy, What's it all about? What do we want, What do we want to achieve?"
Anyway, it's late and I'm rambling. Would just appreciate some input on where people think this should go.

  Thanks loads

  x
