Subject: L-POWER: Reaching out to Grassroots Groups tackling Exclusion and Poverty.

Are you being heard?

Help us to find out and you could receive £250 for your group.

As grassroots (street level, self-help or community) groups you're often working at the most difficult, but most effective point in enabling disadvantaged people to tackle their daily life problems. Is the experience and knowledge that your group has of your community's needs and potential being heard by decision makers?

L-POWER is a project supported by the Big Lottery Fund, to learn about if and how grassroots groups are able to influence the policy and programmes aimed at tackling poverty and exclusion.

www.L-power.org.uk <http://www.l-power.org.uk/> Visit the website, register your group and answer the 3 short questionnaires before October 20th and your group will be entered into a draw for £250.

Any queries? Phone Kenny Dunkwu on 0115 911 0455 or email L-power at cefet.org.uk
