[Bins] CVS access

The standard bins cvs server seems to be down.

Does anyone know of any other way to get CVS access?  Does anyone have
a recent CVS .tar.gz file?

I ask because I've been looking at bins, and I like it, but I want to
add APP12 support (metadata left by certain ancient cameras, among
them the Epson photopc line).  I've got a preliminary APP12 hack in
there, but along the way I find myself wanting to clean up the code
greatly - like most software that's been around for a while, the code
for bins is very convoluted.

However, I wouldn't want to clean up an old version only to find out
that the current bins includes some of the changes I would like to
make.

Also, are there any archives of this list beyond those at
email-lists.org?  I find that some of the messages weren't preserved
in the online archive, as the online archive seems to completely throw
away the message body of any multipart/alternative message.
