[999nhs-coordinators] New mailing list

Hi Everyone,

so just to let you all know, you have been subscribed to a mailing list for
coordinators. If people need adding, just let us know and we can add them.

What this mailing list does is basically mean that you just send an email
to 999nhs-coordinators at email-lists.org and everyone who is subscribed to
it, will get it.

You don't need to add names or anything, just that address should do it. If
you have any issues, let us know. We are going to use a similar system on
the registrations list too. Only without the responses going to all the
mailing list. It should mean we don't get 500 out of office replies
of failed email notifications any more. It also means I cant accidentally
send out an email with 1000 email addresses showing and get myself into big
trouble. (Again)


So.. just to recap.. a bit like our Facebook group.. this is just us. The
emails that we send out are archived and if you need to, you can add
people. Below is a screen grab of the list of people signed up. Let me know
if anyone is missing.


On that note, and whilst I have your attention. ;-) I was wondering if any
of you have settled the route yet?
I was speaking to Durham police yesterday and they basically said that we
can walk wherever we like. As long as we are safe, they wont interfere. In
fact they said,  the law says we have a human right to use the highways for
protest. As long as the owner of the land agrees. Since most of the land
will be local authority land, this is where permission will need to sought.
I am aware that some authorities are liable to be more willing to help than
others. Like I said though, in reality they cant really say no as long as
we try and stick to paths.

Where no paths are available, we need to seek an alternative route or
alternative means of passing it. ie: arrange meeting points after the
dangerous area, split up into smaller groups, or if all else fails bus
people past it.

Can I ask that you start to think about putting this info together in the
spreadsheet? Id really appreciate it too, if we could start to map things
on Google maps and put the links onto the spreadsheet. Thanks for your help
folks. You are all amazing.
