Hi Henning! how are you?

As you say, it has been a while since our last call, in that time we
traveled with Nico from Fiqus.coop to UK, to visit the tech coops of CoTech.

The trip was fascinating in many ways, we made many friends, and we
found that despite certain differences, we are in the same  path,
looking for create better work conditions and more interesting projects
to do, also thinking about the impact of our work.

We came back with the conviction of forming a tech coop global network,
and we have some ideas about how to fund it.

Regarding your questions:

This is really important, we have to be careful not to duplicate
channels. As FACTTIC (https://facttic.org.ar), our argentinian network,
we decided to participate in Patio.coop, although we have doubts about
the ideas and goals of the ICA. We think that we can invite all our
friends of tech coops to participate there, and if in any point we have
strong differences with ICA (I hope not), we can move to other place.

I think that to improve our workers tech cooperatives we'll need well
paid projects to do, because there is no way that us as workers can
develop our cooperatives if we are working in other jobs. In UK we found
that there are a lack of developers in the coops, or they are outdated
regarding the technology stack. So we started to work in two lines, 1)
exchanging knowledge, we'll start to share training courses in React and
Node, and we are scheduling a technical show&tell in order to start
links between the developers. 2) providing developers for projects sold
in UK or Europe, there you can develop your coop, learn new technologies
working in intercooperative teams, and we have this currency difference
that can play in our favor.

I don't really know how to build our global network, but I think that
this year leave us some interesting experiences, especially when we went
to meet personally.

So let's schedule the next call :)

best wishes
