Better to install these as RPMs rather than from source so that they get
automatically updated etc:

  apt-get install perl-Date-Manip perl-Time-HiRes perl-LWP-Simple

However the package names in the line above, based on the perl modules
required, might not be exactly right because of the way they are
packaged...
