a meeting - or series of meetings - is a very good idea.

what sort of things do we want to do i.e. drink lots of beer or do an 
install fest type thing?

as linux installs are so easy these days i would tend to gravitate 
towards beer, myself.

i'd also like to propose a slugbug feast - you can have a fscking good 
troff for about 6/7 quid at Jumbo's chinese buffet near t'Crucible.

so to finalise, i suggest the following venues for these activities:

(i) drink beer, smoke tabs, talk *nix - rutland arms

(ii) slugbug linux feast - Jumbo's chinese buffet

(iii) install fest 'n' tech stuff - the drum media centre (in ncpm)

a straw poll of slug peeps suggests that tuesdays could be good for (i) 
and (ii), and we could do (iii) on a saturday, innit.
