Ah, handy :-)

I tried a netmask of 255.255.255.252 since that is what the
calculator suggested it should be for a two address network, but
that didn't work either:

  # /sbin/route | grep eth0
  80.176.191.220  *               255.255.255.252 U     0      0 0 eth0

  # /sbin/ifconfig | grep 80.176.191.223
            inet addr:80.176.191.223  Bcast:80.176.191.223 Mask:255.255.255.252

I can't find any correspondance from demon so I dunno why I think
that the gateway is 80.176.191.224 apart from the last time I had a
demon adsl account the gateway was just one digit greater than the
ip address...

Anyone else have demon adsl?
