[SlugBug] Linux Day 2004

Is anyone in Shef^H^H^H^HSouth Yorkshire interested in doing a Linux Day
event? The general idea is to book a room somewhere suitable
(accessible, parking, Internet connection) and set up some boxes to show
off what you can do with Free Software to members of the public.

Obviously there's more to it than just Linux (hello BUGgers!), but the
name was picked because of the (relatively) good media coverage that
Linux gets.

Some of the things planned at other events include home office set-ups,
fun server stuff (LAMP, wiki, firewalls), multimedia systems, and
handing out copies of TheOpenCD and Knoppix at cost of media.
