So tcpdump shows packets from pings then?

In my ospf / zebra I don't have any interface definitions.. I guess that binds
the daemon to the specified interfaces all by default ?

netstat -an shows
BoneIdol:/etc/zebra# netstat -an
Active Internet connections (servers and established)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:2601 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:2604 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN

BoneIdol:/etc/zebra# lsof -n | grep TCP
sshd 176 root 3u IPv4 860 TCP *:ssh (LISTEN)
