[SlugBug] RSI/one handed typing

I asked for help on manipulating the kernal
to facilitate one handed touch typing as described at
http://www.billbuxton.com/Matias94.html

this proved tricky , even direct help from the programmer
did not get a result but did leave to a request 
to lobby for this to become part of standard linux

I have an answer though which is to use key mapping in vim
a list of commands similar to
imap <space> q p
in a .vimrc file does the job ,in vim only of course, so mutt
is the email client of choice for RSI sufferers

vim seems to work on any OS
