There is an ongoing problem with the Google search engine. Search requests are blocked with a message similar to the following:

"we are sorry but the query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware programme".

This is due to the way Google interprets search requests, and appears to be unable to differentiate between automated and individual manual requests. We will be contacting Google to request a solution to this problem.

This problem not only affects the Y&H network. Logging onto Google Groups (Beta) and searching for "automated requests" will produce a list of worldwide users experiencing the same problem. So far, Google have made no comment on this issue.

There are a couple of work-arounds:

1. Delete http://www.google.com/sorry/?continue= from the whole address and you will get your search result (not tested).

2. Use another search engine.

We will advise further when Google have this problem resolved.
