Inspiring Cinema will begin on Wednesday 4th November with Ken Loach's excellent Spirit of '45. The film documents how a spirit of unity forged in the second world war carried on to create a fairer Britain. Following each film there will be a short discussion, leading to an active session to create positive change the fortnight after. </div><div><br></div><div>Details are attached and below. Loach "movingly argues that we should look to the past for a better future". As the welfare state is being dismantled, the film is more relevant than ever. You could write a letter to your MP on housing, make a short film about the need for a national health service, or make plans for an event on education.
