[ptx] Feature request: Aligning pictures over time

Hello group

It's me again on the same subject (I posted a question on this same
subject on February 7 2006).

I have been playing with this using a few sequence of photos, and I
came to think that Hugin could probably make the whole operation
easier and maybe even add a few extra features. So here is what I
thought.

Currently, the operation involves the following steps:
1- adjust all the pictures as you would do with a panorama
2- save the pto file
3- for each picture in the sequence,
 3a- load the pto
3b- remove all the pictures except the one to correct
 3c- run the stitcher
(3d- do NOT save the pto file!)

The 3a-3b-3c steps are cumbersome, especially if you have a lot of
pictures in the sequence (I applied this method to a sequence of 15
pictures). I think Hugin could take care of the 3a-3b-3c steps
automatically, probably with little programming.

Now here are two enhancements that would complete this nicely.

A- Once the pictures are corrected, they usually need to be cropped,
but what can be tricky is to apply exactly the same cropping to all
the pictures. Maybe Hugin could take care of this.

B- Often when taking a sequence of pictures like this, you don't
realize that you will want to do this operation with the pictures
later, so you leave the camera in automatic mode. This means that the
pictures may have different exposures. Maybe Hugin could adjust the
exposures just as he does with an usual panorama.

Does anyone agree with me?
