Hi Lluís Pàmies i Juárez,

  if you only want to calculate the degree of view for rectlinear 
lenses, you can implement the following formula:

f: focal length
b: size of sensor (different for lanscape or portrait)
alpha: half of the field of view

alpha = arctan((b/2)/f)
fov   = alpha * 2

You can verify this by HUGIN. i.e: f=8mm, crop=1 (-> b=24mm->portrait), 
fov=112.619°
