Dear Pablo,

Here are 2 versions of 2 files for you to download. The camera RAW and 16bit
TIFF's.

www.eventshorizon.com/downloads/16bit/

As I write this message, the files are working their way up to the server so
if you don't see anything right after reading this, just wait a bit!! (long
upload)

Good luck with your work and thanks!!

PS. I use ZIP compressed TIFF's for saving on file sizes!

Sam

Subject: [ptx] 16 bit and float image support in nona/hugin

Hi together,

I'm currently working on adding 16,32 bit and float and double images to
nona/hugin.

I was wondering how an alpha channel look like in these format, and if
somebody uses signed 16/32 bit images etc.

Since I don't have a scanner, or a raw capable camera, I don't have test
images, and I'm interested in how they are encoded excactly (including
detailed information in all tiff tags, etc.).

Could some people provide me with a pair of test images (files on webservers
prefered, or scaled down, < 2 MB, images by email) images in tiff or pnm
format?

Are there other popular formats for HDR images that should be supported?

ciao
  Pablo
