[ptx] Control Point Distances reported as 0 in Hugin using pano12.dll 2.7.0.3

Using Hugin: Snapshot-2004_03_25-08_41_win32.zip and
Pano12.dll-2.7.0.3-Rik Littlefield on Windows 2000.

Occasionally and intermittently I come across a strange situation where Hugin
finds an OK optimized panorama image, but all the control point distances are
reported as 0. The progress window shows a sensible (non zero) distance while
optimizing, but the final "Optimizer Finished" window, the "points" tab, and the
control point tabs all show control point distances as zero. I think that the
bug was introduced when I installed pano12.dll 2.7.0.3, but am not totally sure.

The most recent time this happened I left Hugin open, swapped back to a previous
pano12.dll and reoptimised - then all the control point distances were reported
again. When I re-instated pano12.dll 2.7.0.3 and re-optimised it then showed all
the control point distances. Weird.
Has anyone else come across this bug? Any ideas how to resolve it ?
