compile problems

its a template function from include/common/stl_util.h, I tried with
g++ 3.3.2 debian prerease this morning, and it broke with the same
error. strange. looks like my code is broken somehow, but I don't know
where.

it is definately a gcc 3.2 <-> 3.3 issue. I'll add a workaround later
today.
