Quick update from Brighton, Since loosing the camp not much has<br>
happened, but a small core of us are planning to set up some monthly<br>
public meeting for discussion, debate and talks about occupy.<br>

We have secured a meeting place on the 17th Feb as the local Academy<br>
of Creative Training has kindly said we can use their hall during half<br>
term.<br>

One of the ideas we've had is to have a panel of occupiers, probably<br>
4 would do, from around the country to talk about their experience,<br>
what occupy means to them and answer questions fro the public.<br>
<br>
So was wondering if there were any people out there interested in<br>
coming down? As we have no camp at the moment we can't offer to put<br>
anyone up, but we may be able to arrange somewhere for you to crash<br>
overnight, failing that we would be finished in time to get a train<br>
back to London or local south east areas. We have no funds to aid with<br>
travel from this end at the moment.<br>
<br>
Another item is guest speakers. We want to get in some people to talk<br>
about occupy related subjects on a monthly basis and would love to<br>
hear any recommendations anyone has.<br>

I saw this recently and found it very insightful so I though I would<br>
share it with you people too. It's Paddy Ashdown talking about how the<br>
global power is shifting.<br>
