Just realised that I forgot to mention tonight, that another important job (if not already being done) is to advertise the conference and benefit gig in appropriate places. Is anyone on this?
I can set up FB events, but anyone got any other suggestions. I should have a bit of computer time tomorrow night xxxx

Subject: [OccupySheffield] GA minutes.

With Joe's fantastic instructions, I was so close to getting these online. However, the page has failed at the last minute (says someone else was trying to edit the page at the same time.)I have to get to bed now and probably won't be back online until late tomorrow, so if someone wants to put on the wiki before that, please do :)
See you all soon, stay positive, warm and be awesome to one another
xxxx

(apologies if these minutes are slightly erratic - my hands were too cold to write efficiently!)
[[Agenda]]
1. Camp Life/maintenance/strategy2. Citadel 3. The future4. Conference5. Jobs list - imminent before the conference.
1. There have been some tensions on camp. A talk was had on both the short term and long term viability. Several ideas were mooted and some reaffirmed from previous meetings. It was mostly agreed that some serious discussions should be had on Monday (after the conference) to plan for the future. However, a larger presence is really needed at ALL times of day/night before the conference to help occupy, outreach and prepare the camp for the weekend. "Kindness is catching" event will be having regular sessions and encouraging people to spend as much time as possible at camp. They are working on a rota system.
2. A hearing will take place for the citadel on Weds at 10am - supporters are welcome. The future strategy of the building needs to be discussed. The final stages of making this building safe are happening now, so question of whether press should be invited.
3. Talk of future strategy. Important to set up a framework for the potential of life without camp - need to recognise things can change very quickly, and make sure the movement keeps as much momentum as possible. Suggestion of regular meetings which aren't camp related. Will be discussed more over the next few days.
4. Conference plans are coming together. Timetable is complete but still unsure which sites will be used for what. Will finalise more after the hearing on Weds.
5. There is loads to do before the conference - please add to this list if you can think of anything else. - Cleaning/tidying the camp- get some heater gas- washing up/cleaning/rearranging the kitchen area- cleaning and organising the main marquee- general site tidying - arranging, sweeping etc. - moving things off site (to citadel or elsewhere)- cleaning the first floor of the citadel (kitchen area, mopping floors etc.)- any skills you can offer also appreciated.
*CALL OUT FOR ARTISTS - does anyone want to come to camp or citadel and make/bring beautiful art? Come on down!*
