Subject: [OccupySheffieldPrivate] [OccupyComms] E-petition: Share £50 Billion between UK tax payers
To: <occupycomms at email-lists.org>

Hi All (again)

This petition has just been set up - what do others think? At the most recent Occupy Bath meeting their was some discussion of this idea and someone (not part of OB) has gone and set up a petition.

Share £50 Billion between UK tax payers
      Responsible department: Her Majesty's Treasury
I suggest that The Bank of Englands £50
Billion of quantitative easing be given directly to UK tax payers in
order to kick start the economy.

If this money was put straight into tax payers hands this could be
pumped into the UK economy helping families and businesses. As a rough
estimate Each tax payer would receive somewhere in the region of £1500.
This has already been successfully done in Australia.
