Hello everybody!

I have just heard back from London with details (below) about the
conference. If you have any further questions, they have an email
outreach at occupylsx.org.

With regards to accomodation and travel: They can cover the accommodation
between OLSX and OLFS camps, although visitors are advised to bring their
own bedding. As for travel, OLSX is covering travel costs of up to 50
pounds per occupation in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales) and up to 100
pounds for occupations traveling from Ireland. This sum is per occupation,
so they can cover one or more delegates.

They're still waiting for some invited speakers to confirm if they can make
it and when, so until then they can't put together a timed agenda. They
hope to be able to do this Wednesday or Thursday the latest, so they can
give delegates some time to think it over. Contact details will also be
included and possibly an occupation-kit. The information tent (reception)
should also have details of the meeting, for late arrivals, people who
haven't checked their e-mail on time etc.
Currently, the plan is for occupation representatives to say a few words
about their experiences, problems and aspirations, after the Saturday 1pm
general assembly (so, probably starting around 2pm).
This will be followed by brief (5-10 minute) introductory speeches from
groups that OLSX and OLFS think might be able to address the problems
and/or help with the aspirations (UK Uncut, trade unions, Squash, Global
Women's Strike, climate camp activists, even some churches), as well as a
few from groups we have been intimate with (occupy half-term, international
occupy commission etc.).

Speakers can ask for temperature checks and if sufficient interest is
present, workshops/discussion groups/teach-outs etc. can be subsequently
arranged. Sunday we'll move to Finsbury square for a more practical and
less publicised event, namely targeted brainstormings between different
occupy working groups and between occupations and groups with allied
interests.

Hope this info from the outreach team helps. Anything else get in contact
with them and any news please make available to all of us via this mailing
list. Thank you and hope to see many of you there!

Best

Vanessa
