<body class='hmmessage'><div dir='ltr'>I think it does not matter whether we are a voted for group or otherwise as we are not at present negotiating with anybody. As I understand it we are gathering information re legal status, potential uses of Meersbrook Hall, condition of Hall, etc which we will put to a general meeting as well as seek people to be elected to an exec committee. We therefore need publicity so that anyone that might want to be elected can come forward otherwise we are just becoming a clique. There may be no new people who want to stand but they should be given chance to. Any funding bids etc would be up to that elected group and Friends. We cannot ask for Friends till we are a designated group. That all comes with an elected exec. I think the Doncaster visit was a good idea. What we need to be able to do is present the facts to the public meeting and possible options. Possibly we could before that present various options on the forum and get people to join forum to discuss that?. Is there some sort of statement we can have published suggesting they join forum?
