Hi All

I think various people on these lists might be interested in working on this topic.
Would it be worth putting a collaborative bid together?

Andy

[Apologies in advance for any cross posting]

ICT Hub commissioning research and report on shared systems

The ICT Hub is seeking to commission an individual or organisation to carry out a piece of research and produce a report into shared systems (such as web portals, networks and databases) that are successfully being used by regional, sub regional and national infrastructure voluntary and community organisations (VCOs).

The aim of the report will be to highlight (1) the benefits of using shared systems (2) the key learning from organisations involved in developing these systems (3) how front line VCOs could benefit from this way of working and (4) make recommendations to the ICT Hub on how it could assist other VCOs in developing shared systems.

If you would like to receive the tender documents for this piece of work, then please send an email with "shared systems report" in the subject field to louise.brown at icthub.org.uk <mailto:louise.brown at icthub.org.uk> . The deadline for applications will be 5.00pm on Wednesday 23rd January 2008, interviews will be held in London on Tuesday 29th January 2008.

Please feel free to disseminate this information to your networks.

many thanks,
