www.freewebs.com
www.shortal.com
or even
www.piczo.com [has a 'teenie' feel but can be made to do what you want I
think]
are reasonably easy to use and free website building services. You will need
to register and have an email address but you can produce simple, easy to
maintain sites. You will generally have to put up with some free advertising
on the site if you take this route.
