Hi folks

I've just been informed of this new web 2 / social software site:
www.upcoming.org

tags + event listing + geographical information + friends (and an API).

What's really interesting is the tags that are there at the moment. 
DeafUKEvents is really big (at this early stage). Looks like an idea with real potential.
