I'd love to go. Teesside airport is right behind my back garden and  Schiphol is just a short hop away. However, I'm just back from hol the day before and at a conf in London next day that my boss wants me to attend http://www.aced-eu.org/

Yuwei is already in Amsterdam, but it might be of intest to others (Steve T, Chris C, Maja).

We'll need to act fast - places are limited. If someone thinks they can make it and can free up the 15th September, please let us
know. I'm sure we can find some funds for at least one person to get over from the UK (and report back to the network).

GroupServer is a new open source online group tool that combines e- mail lists and web forums. By hosting the new UK-based local
Issues Forums in Brighton & Hove and Newham, E-Democracy.Org is opening a

path toward open source collaboration among e-democracy initiatives around the world. Issues Forum evolved from the world's first
election-oriented website in 1994, Minnesota E-Democracy. Today E-Democracy.Org hosts citizen- based local forums in Minnesota and
England. They are effectively designed to have an agenda- setting impact on local communities.
