would be nice to know why people joined CASH – gives a more human feel next to

</span>I think because we have chatted a lot and have been
a lovely cash friend, it hasn’t necessarily felt like an ‘induction’ more like ‘getting
to know CASH through Herta’, so it’s felt quite casual which has been nice
(maybe they are one in the same/that’s not a bad thing. </span>I was quite jarred by
the response you gave when I mentioned saying pronouns at the beginning of cash
meetings. For new people, I don’t think that’s the best way to go about
expressing an opinion like that but I totally get that pronouns are extremely limiting!!! We were texting so messages get misread, but in
general I think more consideration should be given when approaching this topic.
Also, baseline inclusivity for GNC folk is to welcome the sharing of pronouns which
is often overlooked in EDI content because the focus is usually on racial constructs/unconscious bias but I am going to make an assumption there aren’t that many GNC folk in cash.</div><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0cm;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"> </p><div style="margin: 0cm; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">-<span style="font-variant-numeric:normal;font-variant-east-asian:normal;font-variant-alternates:normal;font-kerning:auto;font-feature-settings:normal;font-stretch:normal;line-height:normal;font-family:"Times New Roman"">

has been cool, but no clear/specific point of call like “this is what you could
be doing” but am veryyyy aware this is due to low members and energy levels lacking
so this hasn’t freaked me out. I really like what CASH is doing and in general,

suggested asking new people what they were interested in learning about. I
wasn’t saying ‘don’t tell people its complex and there’s lots to learn’ I meant
on top of that it would be good to offer the opportunity to speak to someone
about a specific area they are interested in, which I don’t think was made very
clear i.e finance, outreach, history – I think perhaps this could be connected
to the friend system?
