Hello everyone,

We've had a proposal to discuss hosting a full listing of community 
events and festivals - maybe with a dedicated page, for Regather 
(www.regather.net)

Regather is a great organisation and it would be good to help, but it 
depends on how, and how much work! Would anyone like to join in the 
discussion, please?

Gareth is happy to have a meeting about it, Andy has said he would come 
along to that, if one or two others could also come that would be great.

OK happy to meet. Generally speaking I'm at Regather Mon - Sat, 9am-6pm 
except Mon, Tues and Sat afternoons when I finish early at @ 2pm. I can 
also do Mon and Tues evenings with sufficient notice. Happy to meet at 
Regather, or come somewhere else if that's better for you.

It would be good to get an initial dialogue on the proposal going via 
email, so we're not coming to it cold at the meeting - I'm happy for you 
to forward my previous email if that helps.

A bit of backstory - historically there has not been a centralised 
online location for a community and festival listings. Welcome to 
Sheffield, Our Fave Places and the Sheffield Directory all have had bits 
of info over the years, but it's been piecemeal and inconsistent. The 
thinking is that Alt Sheff already has an event listings and has the 
right ethos, so it would simply (!?) be a case of promoting the site to 
community and festival organisers, and then if possible tweak the site 
to present that info in a more focused manner.

    We always make decisions on changes by whole group consensus, so my
    thought was to bring one or two others along to meet, then we'd put
    it to our group. Usually we find that a (small) group meeting
    produces better solutions than the first suggestions (usually from
    one person ... usually me!!)

    I appreciate that you're *really* busy, but if we could fix a time
    for a really concentrated meeting, perhaps 30/45 minutes? we could
    work out what's going to be most workable and mutually beneficial?
