Appeal for squatting help
-------------------------
A Sheffield student, James Hurst, has asked Alt-Sheff for help to get
in touch with people interested or involved in squatting. He's doing a
masters thesis project about about squatting and needs to talk to
somebody involved to get first hand accounts of squatting In
Sheffield. If you, or anyone you know, have ever squatted, would you
kindly get in touch with him? His email is: js.hurst.1989 at gmail.com
Alt-Sheff progress
------------------
This is the first newsletter since last summer, but the website has
been constantly updated, and there are various plans, including a
benefit gig to fundraise for website hosting and publicity. Also this
summer we hope to add more social media features.

Sheffield's excellent free magazine "Now Then" features a monthly
Alt-Sheff column called "LocalCheck". Recent articles have included:
